Psychiatrist job in Doha Qatar


We are looking for a Psychiatrist to join our team in Doha. The ideal candidate should have experience in treating psychological problems and diagnosing mental health conditions. He or she should be comfortable providing both short-term and long-term support for patients, as well as liaising with other medical professionals to ensure the best outcomes for their patients.

The successful candidate should be familiar with the latest medical technology, treatments and techniques used in psychiatry, and must have excellent communication skills and empathy. He or she should also be able to work independently and as part of a team, managing cases with sensitivity and professionalism.

In this role, you will be responsible for assessing patients’ physical and mental health using various methods such as interviews, tests, observations and reports. You will diagnose mental health conditions, provide advice on managing them, create treatment plans tailored to individual needs and provide therapy services such as cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) or psychotherapy. Additionally, you will need to monitor patient progress over time, adjust treatments when necessary and refer patients to other specialists if needed.
