Job Summary:

We are looking for a qualified Surveyor to join our team in Riyadh. The Surveyor will be responsible for performing surveys using various techniques to measure distances and angles between points, calculate areas, volumes, and contours of land plots. The successful candidate must have a strong knowledge of surveying techniques, be highly organized and work well with tight deadlines. The salary offered is 900. We are willing to consider an immigrant for the position.

Needs for the Candidate:

The ideal candidate must have excellent communication skills, as they will need to liaise with clients and colleagues in order to produce accurate results from their surveys. They must also be able to interpret technical data accurately, have a good eye for detail and be able to work independently as well as part of a team. They must possess strong problem solving skills in order to investigate any discrepancies that arise from their surveys.

Responsibilities:

The Surveyor’s primary responsibility is to perform land surveys using various methods such as total station surveying and GPS surveying. They must prepare survey reports by collecting the data from the field and entering it into relevant software packages including AutoCAD software. They must also review survey results for accuracy and prepare diagrams or maps that illustrate their findings in order to present them clearly to clients or colleagues. Additionally they may need to inspect property boundaries or carry out structural measurements on buildings or other structures when required.

Qualifications:

The successful candidate should hold a bachelor’s degree in surveying or related field such as civil engineering or geomatics engineering, as well as certification from relevant professional bodies (such as the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors). Previous experience is desirable but not essential; however, knowledge of relevant software packages including AutoCAD is essential for success in this role.
