Job Title: Librarian
Location: Al-Kuwait
Salary: 1400 KD/Month


We are looking for an experienced and knowledgeable Librarian to join our team at Al-Kuwait. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the library's collections, providing reference services, and helping patrons find what they need.

Responsibilities:
• Develop and maintain a library collection that meets the needs of patrons
• Provide reference assistance to patrons
• Manage the circulation of materials
• Monitor and purchase new materials
• Process new materials and return books to shelves
• Help patrons use library computer systems
• Teach classes on library resources and services
• Prepare reports on library activities
• Supervise student assistants and other staff members

Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Library Science or related field (Master’s degree preferred)
• Proven experience as a Librarian or similar role in a library setting
• Knowledge of library cataloging systems and other information retrieval systems
• Good organizational skills with attention to detail
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
