Job Description:
The Physiotherapist will provide comprehensive patient-centered care for both acute and chronic musculoskeletal injuries. The role requires excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to assess, diagnose, plan, implement and evaluate patient care plans. The Physiotherapist must be able to explain different therapies and treatments clearly to patients in order to ensure patient understanding and compliance. The Physiotherapist will be expected to keep accurate records of patients' progress throughout their treatment plans.
Responsibilities:
• Assess the condition of patients through physical examinations, medical histories, laboratory tests and other diagnostic procedures.
• Develop individualized treatment plans for each patient based on assessment findings.
• Educate patients on their conditions/injuries, treatment options available as well as strategies for prevention or management of their conditions/injuries.
• Provide therapeutic interventions using manual therapy or exercise-based treatments such as stretching, strengthening or balance training.
Requirements: • Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy or equivalent qualification.
• At least 2 years’ experience as a Physiotherapist in an outpatient setting is desirable but not essential • Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex information to patients in an understandable way • Ability to work independently without direct supervision • Proficiency with computer applications (Microsoft Office etc.)
