Job Title: Accountant

Salary: 1300 QAR

Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced and qualified Accountant to join our team in Doha, Qatar. The successful candidate will be responsible for all accounting related tasks, from preparing financial statements and recording transactions to creating budgets and analyzing financial data. The ideal candidate should have a strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices, excellent problem solving skills, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements
• Record and manage day-to-day accounting transactions accurately in the company's accounting systems
• Develop budgets for the organization and analyze budget performance against actual results
• Create financial reports to provide insight into the organization's performance and identify areas of improvement
• Analyze variances between budgeted amounts and actual expenses/revenues to explain why there are differences between them
• Monitor investments of the company’s funds for optimal returns
• Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations
• Maintain strong internal controls over all financial processes

Qualifications & Experience:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance or equivalent experience
• 5+ years of experience in an accounting environment
• Excellent knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
• Ability to use MS Office applications (Word, Excel) confidently
