Job Summary

Needs for the Candidate
The successful candidate should have experience in installation, maintenance, repair, and calibration of instruments. Knowledge of process control systems is an asset. The ideal candidate should be hardworking, organized, and have the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively.

Job Responsibilities
• Install, maintain, repair and calibrate instruments in accordance with established procedures
• Troubleshoot issues with instrumentation and process control systems
• Ensure all safety standards are met when working with hazardous materials
• Monitor instrumentation performance to ensure optimal operation
• Perform preventative maintenance on instruments to ensure longevity of life
• Make recommendations for instrumentation upgrades or changes to improve efficiency or safety
• Maintain detailed records of all work done on instruments and process control systems
Qualifications
• High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree in related field preferred
• At least 2 years of experience in a similar role
• Knowledge of instrumentation systems, industrial automation, electrical wiring diagrams & schematics
• Excellent problem solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to read technical manuals & follow established procedures
