Position Title: Accountant
Location: Al-Kuwait
Salary: 1500
Job Summary:
We are currently seeking an experienced Accountant to join our team in Al-Kuwait. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records and preparing financial reports. They must be able to analyze financial data, reconcile accounts and prepare accurate tax returns. The ideal candidate for this role will have at least 1 year of experience in a similar role.
Duties & Responsibilities:
• Prepare and maintain financial records including income statements, balance sheets, and other reports required by management or regulatory agencies
• Analyze business operations, trends, costs, revenues, financial commitments to project future revenues and expenses
• Reconcile accounts such as bank statements to ensure accuracy of information reported
• Prepare monthly and annual tax returns for the company in compliance with all applicable regulations and laws
• Monitor compliance with accounting standards and regulations
• Ensure timely payment of all invoices and other dues from clients or vendors
• Process payrolls accurately and efficiently while ensuring compliance with applicable regulations
Qualifications & Skills:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field preferred
• 1+ years of experience in accounting is required
• Knowledge of taxation regulations and procedures is preferred
• Excellent mathematical skills with the ability to calculate figures accurately
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel) as well as QuickBooks software is preferred
• Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
