Librarian job vacancy in Dubai UAE for unskilled workers


Librarian – Dubai

We are looking for an experienced Librarian to join our team in Dubai. We are offering a salary of 1100 AED per month and are willing to consider immigrants for the role.

The successful Librarian will need to have a good knowledge of library systems, procedures and techniques, as well as expertise in organizing and categorizing books, documents and materials. They will also be expected to be able to use library software and carry out research tasks.

The ideal candidate must have a minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role, preferably within an educational environment or library setting. They must also possess excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently. A degree in Library Science or Information Science is preferred but not essential.

The successful Librarian will be responsible for helping customers find information from books, magazines, newspapers, audio-visual materials, computer databases and other online sources. They will also be expected to help with library cataloging activities, maintaining library collections (including purchasing new materials) and providing instruction on the use of equipment such as computers and photocopiers.
