Job Summary:
We are looking for an Optometrist to join our team in Abu-Dhabi. The ideal candidate should have knowledge of optometric care, and be willing to help our patients reach optimal vision health. The Optometrist will be responsible for administering comprehensive eye exams, diagnosing ocular conditions, and providing treatment plans. This is a full-time position offering a salary of 1800 AED per month. We are willing to consider applicants from abroad with no experience in the field.

Requirements for Candidate:
• Bachelor's degree or higher in Optometry
• Ability to use specialized medical equipment
• Knowledge of contact lenses and lens fittings
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Possess a valid license to practice optometry in Abu-Dhabi
• Ability to prioritize tasks and multitask efficiently
• Ability to work well independently as well as in a team setting

Job Description:
The Optometrist will be responsible for providing comprehensive eye exams and diagnosing ocular conditions through patient history taking, refraction testing, visual acuity testing, tonometry readings, etc. They will then provide treatment options such as prescribing glasses or contact lenses, ordering diagnostic tests such as MRI’s or X-rays when needed. Additionally they will monitor patient progress over time by conducting follow up exams as necessary to ensure optimal vision health is maintained. They will also counsel patients on their vision health needs such as dietary recommendations or lifestyle changes that may help improve their vision health. Finally they will document all pertinent information in patient records accurately and efficiently ensuring proper coding is used at all times.
