Job Responsibilities
• Perform laboratory experiments related to qualitative and quantitative analysis of organic compounds, inorganic compounds, and other substances.
• Analyze results using advanced testing equipment such as spectroscopes, chromatographs, mass spectrometers and microscopes.
• Develop new methods or protocols for chemical analysis according to the requirements of the project.
• Interpret data and report findings in formal documents or presentations.
• Prepare samples for analysis using techniques such as distillation, fractional crystallization or chromatography.
• Monitor laboratory safety protocols and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
