We are looking for an experienced Accountant for our Al-Kuwait office. The ideal candidate should have a proven background in the field of accounting and be able to demonstrate their ability to handle financial, administrative, and operational tasks. The successful applicant will be expected to manage all aspects of our accounting operations, including budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and financial analysis.

The Accountant position offers a salary of 1800USD per month and will be open to both local and foreign candidates. It is essential that the candidate has excellent written and spoken English communication skills as this is the primary language used in the office.

Responsibilities:
• Preparation of financial statements including profit/loss statements, balance sheets, cash flow statements etc.
• Managing accounts receivable/payable functions; issuing invoices to customers; ensuring payments are received timely
• Liaising with external auditors and tax advisors; maintaining accurate records of all financial transactions
• Preparing monthly management reports on actual vs budget performance; providing analysis on variances
• Utilizing accounting software programs (e.g., QuickBooks) to monitor accounts payable/receivable status
• Developing internal control procedures to ensure accuracy of data entered into system; monitoring compliance with applicable laws and regulations

Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field with 5+ years experience in an accounting role
• Outstanding numerical skills with excellent attention to detail
• Advanced computer literacy including advanced working knowledge of MS Office Suite (Excel); working knowledge of QuickBooks is preferred but not essential
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team; strong organizational skills with ability to meet tight deadlines
