Cashier job vacancy in Dubai UAE for foreigners


Position: Cashier
Location: Dubai, UAE
Salary: AED 1000 per month
Experience: Preferably 1-2 years of cashier experience in a retail environment. However, we are open to considering freshers.

We are looking for an experienced and professional Cashier to join our team in Dubai. The successful candidate will be responsible for processing customer payments accurately and efficiently at the checkout counter. They must maintain a high level of customer service while handling cash transactions and providing change as needed.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Greet customers upon their arrival at the checkout counter
• Accept payments from customers, including cash, checks, debit/credit cards, and other accepted forms of payment
• Issue receipts to customers and handle any refunds or other transactions as necessary
• Count money in cash drawers at the beginning of shifts to ensure that amounts match corresponding sales records
• Answer customers’ questions about items purchased or services rendered
• Stock shelves with merchandise as needed
• Maintain cleanliness of checkout area by regularly cleaning counters and sweeping floors
• Assist management with inventory control by checking supplies regularly and restocking as necessary

Qualifications:
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to remain professional under pressure
• Knowledgeable about basic accounting principles and cash handling procedures
• Experience using POS systems is an asset
• High school diploma or equivalent qualification is required
