Light Driver – Job Description

We are looking for a reliable Light Driver to transport goods, materials, and staff of our company in Dubai. The successful candidate must be able to work efficiently and safely to ensure the safe delivery of goods and materials in a timely manner.

Responsibilities:
• Operate light vehicles such as cars, vans, trucks or 4x4s in accordance with the local traffic laws
• Load and unload materials and goods while ensuring that they are securely fastened
• Follow routes and time schedules
• Ensure timely delivery of goods to their destination
• Collect payments when necessary
• Maintain accurate logbook records such as mileage, fuel expenses, etc.
• Report any mechanical problems encountered with the vehicle
• Ensure compliance with applicable safety regulations.

Skills:
• Proven experience as a light driver in Dubai or similar role in the UAE region
• Valid UAE driver’s license with no major violations (no points)
• Ability to read maps and navigate efficiently through congested traffic areas.
• Knowledge of local streets and routes • Good knowledge of road safety rules & regulations. • Ability to troubleshoot minor problems with vehicles. • Good communication skills in English & Arabic (preferred). • Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50lbs).

Salary: 1300 AED monthly (negotiable depending on experience). We are also open to considering immigrant candidates for this position.
