Librarian vacancy in Al-Kuwait Kuwait for foreigners


We are looking for a reliable and experienced Librarian to join our team at Al-Kuwait. The successful candidate should be passionate about literature, have an excellent understanding of the Dewey Decimal System, and be knowledgeable about library catalogs.

The ideal candidate must have a degree in Library Science or a related field and should have experience working in a library setting. They should also possess strong interpersonal skills, as they will be interacting with patrons on a daily basis. Additionally, they must be able to use library software programs efficiently and be familiar with common electronic cataloging systems.

The Librarian is expected to help patrons find books, periodicals, and other materials using the library catalogs. They must also assist in maintaining order in the library by shelving books and other materials correctly according to the Dewey Decimal System. Furthermore, they must inform patrons of any new or special collections available in the library and be able to recommend appropriate materials based on their requests. Additionally, they should manage book circulation policies accordingly.
