Barista - Sharjah

We are looking for an enthusiastic, experienced Barista to join our team in Sharjah. You will be responsible for preparing and serving high-quality beverages with excellent customer service. This is a full-time position with a salary of 1600 AED per month. We are willing to consider foreign applicants.

Job Description:
The Barista will be responsible for providing friendly, knowledgeable and efficient service to customers in the preparation of espresso-based coffee drinks, tea drinks, smoothies, pastries and other food items as needed. The Barista should have a strong knowledge of various coffee/tea brewing techniques as well as food hygiene standards.

Duties & Responsibilities:
• Prepare beverages such as cappuccinos, lattes, macchiatos, teas and other specialty drinks following appropriate recipes
• Ensure all beverages meet quality standards
• Follow safe food handling procedures at all times
• Maintain cleanliness of work area and equipment
• Assist customers with menu selection
• Ensure accurate cash handling processes are followed
• Monitor inventory levels of supplies and food items
• Take orders from customers accurately while maintaining friendly customer service

Qualifications & Skills:
• Minimum 1 year experience in similar role preferred but not required
• Excellent customer service skills required
• Knowledge of different coffee/tea brewing techniques
• Ability to follow recipes accurately
• Knowledge of safe food handling practices
• Ability to stand for long periods of time
