Optometrist Job in Abu Dhabi

We are looking for an experienced Optometrist to join our team in Abu Dhabi. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing professional eye care services to patients, including diagnosing and treating vision problems.

Salary: 1400 AED per month

Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Optometry or equivalent qualification
• At least 2 years of experience as an Optometrist
• Good knowledge of ophthalmic conditions and treatments
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Willingness to undertake further training and development when needed
• Must be willing to relocate to Abu Dhabi if necessary.

Job Description:
• Performing comprehensive eye examinations, including testing visual acuity, refraction, ocular motility and binocular vision.
• Diagnosing ocular diseases such as glaucoma, cataracts or retinal disease.
• Prescribing eyeglasses or contact lenses based on the evaluation of the patient’s vision needs.
• Recommending medical treatment plans for ocular diseases such as glaucoma or retinal disease.
• Ordering imaging tests such as CT scans when necessary.
• Keeping accurate records of patient visits and treatments.
