The job description involves taking blood samples from patients and donors, preparing samples for analysis, conducting lab tests, and providing results to the attending physician. Additionally, the Phlebotomist must follow all safety protocols related to blood collection and ensure that the patient is comfortable throughout the process. The candidate should also have experience in record-keeping and data entry as required by the organization.

The successful candidate must possess a diploma in Phlebotomy or related field as well as any certification from recognized accredited bodies. A minimum of two years’ experience working in a similar role is preferred, but not mandatory. In addition to strong technical skills, the ideal candidate should demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills as well as be self-motivated and organized with excellent attention to detail. The ability to work independently is also essential for this role.
