Job Summary:
The Surveyor will be responsible for conducting land surveys onsite, including measurements of land features such as contours and elevations. The surveyor will also be responsible for creating detailed maps that feature measurements and other data related to the surveyed properties. Additionally, the surveyor will provide technical advice to support projects related to building design and construction.
Job Responsibilities:
• Conduct land surveys onsite using the most up-to-date equipment and techniques
• Create detailed maps that feature measurements and other data related to surveyed properties
• Analyze surveying data such as elevations, distances, angles, and contours of plots or structures
• Provide technical advice related to building design or construction planning projects
• Inspect area boundary markers or other structures that could affect property lines
• Utilize software programs such as AutoCAD or GIS software for mapping tasks Qualifications & Requirements: • Bachelor’s degree in Surveying Engineering or similar field • Proven experience as a Surveyor in a professional setting • Excellent knowledge of surveying instruments such as total stations or GPS devices • Knowledge of relevant software programs such as AutoCAD or GIS software • Ability to interpret survey data accurately • Strong communication skills • Attention to detail If you believe you have what it takes to excel in this position, we would love to hear from you!
