Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced Optometrist to join our team in Al-Kuwait. The position is responsible for providing comprehensive eye care services to our patients, including testing and diagnosis of vision problems, prescribing corrective lenses, and advising patients on health and lifestyle issues related to vision.

Job Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Optometry or equivalent with a valid license in the country of practice
• At least two years experience in Optometry
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work well with others
• Knowledge of current medical laws, policies, regulations, standards in optometry
• Fluency in English (Arabic language would be a plus)
• Willingness to learn new techniques and stay up to date with new developments in the field
• A valid driver’s license is preferred.

Duties & Responsibilities:
• Perform comprehensive eye examinations including refraction, retinoscopy, tonometry and other tests as needed.
• Diagnose vision problems such as nearsightedness or astigmatism and prescribe corrective lenses or treatment.
• Recognize signs of eye diseases such as glaucoma or diabetic retinopathy during patient exams.
• Advise patients on proper eye care techniques such as use of contact lenses or nutrition related to eye health.
• Educate patients on the benefits of various types of eyewear such as sunglasses or sports eyewear. • Provide referrals for additional medical care when needed.

Compensation: 1500 KWD/month
