Instrument Technician - Al-Kuwait

We are looking for an Instrument Technician to join our team in Al-Kuwait. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing instruments, gauges and control systems used in industrial settings.

The ideal candidate should have a minimum of one year of experience in instrumentation or two years of experience in a related technical field such as electronics, electrical or mechanical engineering. The salary is 1400 KD per month. We are willing to consider an immigrant for this position. No experience is necessary if the candidate has the right qualifications.

Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and repair faulty instruments and control systems
- Check operating systems to ensure they are functioning properly
- Troubleshoot and repair instruments and control systems using appropriate testing equipment such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, thermocouples etc.
- Test and calibrate instruments according to manufacturers’ specifications
- Install new instrumentation systems according to manufacturer’s instructions
- Maintain records of maintenance activities on a computer database or spreadsheet
- Perform preventive maintenance activities on instrumentation assets

Requirements:

- Diploma/Certificate in Instrumentation Engineering or related field
- Experience with industrial instrumentation (1 year minimum) or 2 years’ experience working in a related technical field such as electronics, electrical or mechanical engineering
- Ability to read drawings/schematics/diagrams
- Knowledge of computers for data entry
- Excellent troubleshooting skills
