Job Title: Instrument Technician

Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced Instrument Technician to perform a variety of installation, maintenance, and repair tasks on our instrumentation and control systems. The successful candidate will have at least three years of experience in the field and must be willing to work in Kuwait.

Primary Responsibilities:
• Install, inspect, maintain, troubleshoot and repair electrical/electronic equipment such as programmable logic controllers (PLCs), variable speed drives (VSDs), motor starters, motors, actuators, switches, relays, etc.
• Ensure that all instrumentation and control systems are operating correctly and safely.
• Test instrumentation for proper operational performance.
• Perform calibration of instrumentation as necessary.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics and diagrams to identify wiring errors or other potential problems.
• Diagnose problems with complex instruments using various test equipment such as voltmeters, ohmmeters, etc.
• Develop preventive maintenance programs for instrumentation systems.
• Prepare detailed reports on all maintenance activities performed.
• Maintain records of all instruments serviced or repaired and inventory of spare parts used.

Requirements:
• At least three years of experience in instrumentation and control systems installation/maintenance/repair/calibration/testing.
• Working knowledge of PLCs, VSDs, motor starters, motors, actuators, switches relays etc.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and diagrams
• Strong problem-solving skills

Additional Qualifications: Applicant must be willing to relocate to Kuwait for the duration of the contract period.
