Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Optometrist to join our team in Khawr Fakkan. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing comprehensive eye care services to patients of all ages, including examinations, diagnosis and treatment of vision problems. We offer a competitive salary of 1300 per month and are willing to consider an immigrant for this position.

Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in optometry or related field
• Licensed as an optometrist in the UAE
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• At least 3 years’ experience working as an optometrist
• Fluency in English


Duties & Responsibilities
• Conduct comprehensive eye exams on patients of all ages using advanced diagnostic equipment
• Perform vision tests on patients and provide advice on corrective lenses and other vision aids
• Diagnose various eye conditions such as glaucoma, cataracts, retinal diseases, astigmatism and myopia among others
• Write prescriptions for ophthalmic lenses or drugs related to vision care; including corrective eyeglasses, contact lenses or treatments such as antibiotics or steroids
• Provide counseling on preventive care measures such as proper nutrition for healthy eyesight; advise on lifestyle changes for better vision health; recommend sunwear protection methods; suggest any functional vision aids when needed

Salary: 1300 AED per month
