Position Title: Carpenter
Location: Doha, Qatar
Salary: 1200
Job Overview:
We are looking for a skilled Carpenter to join our team in Doha. The successful candidate will be responsible for constructing, installing, and repairing structures, fixtures, and other items made of wood and other materials. This includes measuring, cutting, and assembling materials according to specifications. The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of related experience and possess the necessary technical skills to complete the job efficiently.

Duties & Responsibilities:
• Accurately measure, cut, fit and assemble wooden components for various projects
• Install cabinets, counters, windows/doors/frames/hardware using power tools such as saws or drills
• Work with a variety of materials including wood, plastic laminate and metal
• Read blueprints or drawings to understand specifications
• Follow safety rules when working with woodworking equipment such as saws or drills
• Maintain a clean workspace at all times.
• Identify problems in workmanship or installation problems during construction phase and rectify them
• Perform routine maintenance on tools and equipment used for carpentry projects

Qualifications & Skills:
• High school diploma or equivalent certificate preferred
• 1+ years of experience in carpentry
• Excellent knowledge of carpentry techniques and methods of installation and construction
• Ability to read technical drawings and plans
• Excellent knowledge of carpentry materials such as wood types & species, finishes etc.
• Ability to use power tools such as saws or drills accurately
