Executive Chef – Doha, Qatar

We are seeking an experienced Executive Chef to join our team in Doha, Qatar. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the kitchen and creating innovative menus that will delight our guests. This role offers a competitive salary of 1500 QR per month. We are open to considering foreign applicants for this position.

The ideal candidate must have a minimum of 5 years experience as an Executive Chef in a high end restaurant or hotel. They must have extensive knowledge of current culinary trends and menu development. The ability to manage a large kitchen staff is essential. Knowledge of international cuisine is desirable but not essential.

The primary duties and responsibilities of the Executive Chef are:
• Create new dishes and menus that reflect the restaurant’s style and vision
• Ensure food is prepared to high standards with respect to quality, presentation, freshness, and safety
• Oversee the ordering, receiving, storage, and inventory of ingredients
• Manage staff schedules and coordinate staff training programs
• Monitor food costs and maintain budget controls
• Develop relationships with suppliers to ensure quality ingredients at competitive prices
• Manage sanitation in the kitchen and ensure that health codes are followed
• Develop creative ideas for promotional activities related to food products or services
