Position Summary:
We are looking for an experienced and detail-orientated Painter to join our team in Al-Kuwait. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of one year of experience in painting. This position provides a competitive salary of 1700 and is open to immigrants.

Duties and Responsibilities:
• Prepare walls and other surfaces for painting by scraping, using sandpaper, removing old paint, filling holes and cracks, taping off areas, etc.
• Mix paint according to instructions or match colors accurately.
• Apply primer or sealers to prepare new surfaces for finish coats.
• Hang wallpaper or fabric on walls using wallpaper paste or other adhesives.
• Paint interior and exterior walls, ceilings, trim, doors, furniture and other objects as required.
• Clean up work area after each job is complete.
• Follow safety guidelines when handling hazardous materials such as paints and thinners.

Qualifications & Skills:
• High school diploma or equivalent; post-secondary training in painting is an asset.
• At least one year of experience in painting preferred; however, we are willing to train the right candidate who has a good attitude with a willingness to learn quickly.
• Knowledge of various types of paints, wall coverings and finishes including techniques used in their application.
• Ability to read blueprints or drawings to determine the specific materials required for each job.
• Ability to understand instructions both verbally and written in English language.
