Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced and passionate Sommelier to join our team in Dubai. As a Sommelier, you will be responsible for providing outstanding wine service to our guests. You will be expected to have extensive knowledge of wines from around the world, including their characteristics, production methods, and ideal food pairings.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent customer service skills and have a strong desire to learn about new wines and trends while maintaining a high level of professionalism at all times.

Responsibilities:
• Keep up with current trends in the wine industry
• Assist guests with wine selection and provide detailed information on the wines they select
• Recommend food and wine pairings
• Help maintain inventory of wines
• Place orders for new wines
• Ensure that all glasses are properly washed and stored properly after use
• Stock glassware and other supplies as needed
• Ensure that all bottles are properly labeled and stored correctly in the cellar.

Requirements:
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a sommelier or related role • Excellent knowledge of various types of wine • Ability to identify flavors, smells, textures, structure, etc. • Must be able to work flexible hours • Must have excellent communication skills • Must possess good organizational skills • Must be willing to learn new techniques and approaches • Must be able to handle multiple tasks efficiently • Fluency in English is required; knowledge of Arabic is preferred but not essential.

Salary: 1800 AED per month
