We are seeking a qualified Optometrist for an exciting opportunity at our Umm-al-Qaiwain eye care clinic. Our ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience in the field, be able to demonstrate knowledge of current optometric techniques, and be able to work independently and as part of a team. This is a full-time position with competitive benefits and salary up to 1600 (depending on experience).

Responsibilities include performing comprehensive eye examinations, providing consultation and education to patients on vision problems, contact lenses, eyeglasses and other treatments. The Optometrist will also diagnose sight problems, detect any abnormality and provide advice for corrective measures.

The successful candidate should possess excellent communication skills in order to interact effectively with patients from diverse backgrounds. They should also have the ability to implement effective treatments plans in accordance with medical protocols and standards of practice. In addition, the ability to work both independently and in a team setting is essential for this position.
