Librarian job in Dibba-El-Fujairah UAE for unskilled workers


We are looking for an experienced Librarian to join our team in Dibba-El-Fujairah. The successful applicant will be responsible for managing our library resources, organizing events and activities centered around reading, and providing exceptional customer service to library patrons.

The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 1 year of experience working in a library environment. This position offers a salary of 1500 AED per month and we are willing to consider applications from immigrants.

The primary duties will include collecting, maintaining, organizing and cataloging books, DVDs and other media materials; planning and supervising educational events such as book readings, author interviews and workshops; teaching library users the use of online catalogs; helping patrons locate reference materials; and maintaining accurate records of all library transactions. This position also requires excellent communication skills as the successful candidate must be able to respond to inquiries from patrons in person or by telephone or email.
