Instrument Technician - Abu-Dhabi

We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Instrument Technician to join our team in Abu-Dhabi. The successful applicant will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, calibration, and repair of all plant instrumentation systems and components. This position offers a competitive salary of 1200. We are also open to consider an immigrant with the right qualifications and experience.

The main duties and responsibilities of this role include: installing and configuring instrumentation systems; performing preventive maintenance on all instruments; calibrating systems to ensure accuracy; troubleshooting instrumentation problems; making repairs as needed; preparing documentation related to equipment maintenance activities; and researching technical publications related to instrumentation. In addition, you will be required to work on projects involving the installation of new instruments or modifications to existing ones.

We are looking for someone with at least 3 years experience in a similar role, a good understanding of electrical systems and components, the ability to read schematics, diagrams, blueprints, and technical manuals, excellent problem-solving skills, strong communication skills (both verbal and written) in English, as well as experience with computerized control systems. Knowledge of PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers) is also highly desirable. It is important that you have the ability to work independently with minimal supervision as well as part of a team.
