Position: Accountant
Location: Sharjah, UAE
Salary: AED 1,100 per month

We are looking for an experienced and reliable Accountant to join our team in Sharjah, UAE. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining financial records, preparing financial reports and reconciling bank statements.

Responsibilities:
• Maintain and update accounting records including accounts receivable and payable transactions.
• Prepare monthly and quarterly financial statements.
• Reconcile bank statements and investigate any discrepancies.
• Assist with budget preparation activities as required.
• Monitor cash flow and review account activity.
• Identify cost savings opportunities through analysis of financial data.
• Prepare documents for audits as necessary.
• Ensure all filing requirements are met in accordance with company policies and procedures.
• Any other duties as assigned by the management team.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field.
• At least one year of accounting experience preferred but not required for recent graduates from a relevant field of study.  • Excellent communication skills in English (oral & written).  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word etc.).  • Must be detail-oriented with strong analytical skills.  • Must possess a high level of accuracy and attention to detail when dealing with accounts related matters; confidentiality is essential in this role.  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team is essential; must be able to take direction from superiors but also exercise independent judgement when necessary.  • Must have valid UAE work permit if applying from abroad; we are ready to consider a foreigner for this role but must have the relevant visa in place before starting work.
