Light Driver Job Opening in Doha, Qatar

We are looking for an experienced Light Driver to join our team in Doha, Qatar. The ideal candidate must have a valid license, excellent driving skills, good knowledge of the local area and the ability to follow instructions. We offer a salary of 1000 QAR per month with the possibility of an immigrant contract.

Responsibilities:
• Drive vehicles safely and efficiently as directed.
• Follow the designated routes and ensure on-time arrival at the destination.
• Follow traffic laws and regulations and maintain knowledge of speed limits.
• Collect fares or fees from customers and record them accurately.
• Perform regular vehicle maintenance checks such as oil changes, refueling or tire rotations.
• Monitor road conditions and watch for potential hazards such as pedestrians, animals or debris on the road.
• Report any vehicle malfunctions or damage to supervisor immediately.
• Load and unload cargo safely when required.
• Adhere to safety protocols at all times during trips.

Requirements:
• Valid light vehicle driver's license (passenger cars).
• Minimum 3 years’ experience driving a light vehicle in Doha, Qatar is preferred.
• Basic mechanical knowledge and understanding of vehicle maintenance processes.
• Good knowledge of local roads, traffic laws and regulations in Qatar is essential.
• Excellent driving skills with a clean driving record free of any fines or penalties issued within last 12 months.
• Must be able to provide valid references from previous employers if requested by management team.
