Al-Kuwait is looking for a reliable and responsible cashier to join our team. The successful candidate will be the face of our organization, responsible for handling customer transactions with ease and accuracy.

The successful applicant must have excellent customer service skills, be detail-oriented, and possess the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. A basic understanding of mathematics and money management is also required. This position requires the ability to think quickly on your feet and handle multiple tasks at once.

Responsibilities include:
• Greet customers and answer any questions they may have
• Receive payment by cash, check, credit cards or automatic debits
• Issue receipts, refunds, credits or change due to customers
• Count money in cash drawers at the beginning of shifts to ensure that amounts are correct and that there is adequate change
• Establish or identify prices of goods using scanners or price lists
• Resolve customer complaints in a professional manner
• Maintain cleanliness of counter area by wiping down surfaces with cleaner regularly
• Balance cash drawer by counting cash at the end of the shift
