Carpenter job vacancy in Doha Qatar


Job Description:
We are looking for a Carpenter to join our team in Doha. The successful candidate will be a skilled craftsman with enthusiasm and commitment to working efficiently and accurately. The ideal candidate must be able to work independently, with minimal supervision, and have a willingness to learn new skills.

Responsibilities:
• Measure and mark cutting lines on materials using measuring tools and marking devices
• Cut, shape, and smooth lumber and other material according to measurements
• Assemble cut and shaped materials using glue, screws, clamps or nails
• Fit parts together and check the accuracy of the assembly using measuring instruments
• Align components for proper fit before fastening them together
• Install fixtures like windows, doors and trim items as per customer requirements
• Construct building frameworks including walls, floors, door frames etc. utilizing wood joints such as dowels or mortise-and-tenon joints
• Repair furniture by replacing damaged parts or refitting them if necessary.

Qualifications:
• At least 2 years of experience in carpentry is preferred but we are also willing to consider applicants with no experience.
• Knowledge of shop tools including power saws, joiners, routers etc. is desired but not required.
• Ability to read blueprints/technical drawings is an advantage.
• Good communication skills as well as physical fitness are essential for this job.
• A valid driver’s license is preferred but not mandatory.

Salary: 1500 QAR/month
