Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Pharmacist to join our team in Doha, Qatar. As a Pharmacist you will be responsible for providing medication services to patients in accordance with established policies and procedures. You will be in charge of dispensing medications, providing advice on use of medications as well as management of drug inventory.

Duties & Responsibilities
• Dispense medications upon physician's orders.
• Monitor drug therapies by conducting interactions with patients and monitoring their health conditions.
• Provide information on side effects, dosage instructions, and proper storage of drugs.
• Ensure safekeeping of drugs by maintaining the pharmacies’ operating standards.
• Handle customer inquiries regarding medication usage and provide advice on the same.
• Verify accuracy and completeness of all prescriptions filled according to company policies and procedures.
• Maintain records such as pharmacy files, patient profiles, charges etc., as required by law or standard procedures.
• Follow up with physicians on any prescription related queries or concerns from customers/patients.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy or relevant field from an accredited educational institution is required; Master’s degree is preferred.

• Must be registered/licensed with the local health regulatory body; valid license/membership must be maintained throughout employment period.

• Previous experience in a pharmacy setting is preferred but not mandatory for this position; we are prepared to consider applicants with no experience.

• Knowledgeable in pharmaceutical care principles, medical terminology, drug therapy protocols, medical equipment usage and safety procedures is desired but not mandatory for this position.

• Ability to read prescriptions accurately and dispense medication correctly; excellent customer service skills are essential for this role as well as strong problem-solving abilities.

Salary & Benefits:

The salary offered for this role is 1600 QAR per month along with other benefits such as housing allowance, medical insurance coverage etc., as per company policy.
