Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced Cashier to join our team in Abu-Dhabi. The ideal candidate should have excellent customer service skills, great attention to detail, and must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
• Greet customers as they enter the store and provide assistance with their purchases.
• Process customer transactions quickly and accurately using the cash register or any other payment method.
• Ensure that the store shelves are well stocked and organized.
• Assist customers with any questions or requests that they may have.
• Handle daily accounting tasks such as counting cash, preparing deposits and balancing registers.
• Maintain a clean work environment including counters, drawers and other surfaces.
• Answer phone calls, take messages and respond to customer inquiries in a timely manner.
Qualifications:
• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous cashier experience preferred but not required.
• Working knowledge of basic math principles for calculating discounts and taxes on purchases is preferred.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to multitask effectively.
Requirements:
• Must be reliable and punctual for shifts at all times.
• Must be willing to work any shift, including weekends and holidays if necessary.
• Must be able to stand for long periods of time while performing cashier duties in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs when stocking shelves or assisting customers with their purchases.
