The job duties for the Auto electrician role include diagnosing electrical problems on vehicles; repairing or replacing wiring, lights, fuses, relays, alternators and starters; testing vehicle components; performing regular maintenance checks on vehicles; troubleshooting complex electrical systems; keeping accurate records and ordering parts as needed.

The ideal candidate for this position should have a good understanding of automotive electrical systems as well as excellent troubleshooting skills. They should also be able to read technical drawings and schematics and have the ability to use specialized diagnostic tools such as multimeters or oscilloscopes. Previous experience in auto mechanics or automotive repair is preferred but not mandatory. A valid driver's license is also required for this position.
