Instrument Technician - Abu Dhabi

We are looking for an experienced Instrument Technician to join our team in Abu Dhabi. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing measuring and controlling instruments and systems. Requirements:
• Minimum of 1 year of experience as an Instrument Technician
• Ability to troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation systems
• Knowledgeable in the use of tools such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, etc.
• Proficiency in reading electrical/mechanical diagrams
• Ability to work independently without supervision
• English language proficiency
• Willingness to work shifts and overtime if needed
• Must be able to pass a background check
• Valid driver's license preferred (not required)

Job Description:

The Instrument Technician will be responsible for installing, calibrating, testing and maintaining all types of instrumentation systems within an industrial plant facility. This includes both mechanical and electrical components like transducers, actuators, indicators, relays etc. The successful candidate must have excellent troubleshooting skills in order to repair any malfunctions or faults that may occur with these systems or components. The technician will also be required to adjust settings on these instruments so that they are operating according to the desired specifications. Additionally they will need to document all maintenance activities as well as keep records of spare parts inventory in order to ensure that all necessary repairs are completed in a timely manner.
