Job Summary
We are looking for a qualified Welder to join our team in Al-Kuwait. Our company is currently in need of a Welder who can perform welding tasks expertly and efficiently - from basic welding up to more sophisticated welding techniques. The successful candidate should have the ability to work with different types of materials such as steel, aluminum, copper, brass, and iron.

Duties and Responsibilities
The Welder will be responsible for reading blueprints and drawings in order to accurately plan layout, assembly, and welding operations. He or she will also be responsible for operating manual or semi-automatic welding equipment to fuse metal segments using processes such as gas tungsten arc welding (GTAW), gas metal arc welding (GMAW), flux-cored arc welding (FCAW) or shielded metal arc welding (SMAW). The welder must utilize appropriate techniques when joining or repairing metal components including measuring, cutting, bending and forming using hand tools. Other duties include performing periodic maintenance on equipment, keeping the work area clean and safe at all times, following safety regulations when working with hazardous materials such as gases or chemicals.

Qualifications and Requirements
• High school diploma/GED plus two years of experience in a related field is required
• Knowledge of various types of metals used for welding is necessary
• Experience using hand tools such as hammers, chisels, punches etc., is essential
• Ability to read blueprints or drawings accurately
• Must have excellent eye-hand coordination
• Must possess strong problem solving skills
• A valid driver’s license may be required
• Being certified by an American Welding Society would be an asset
