Librarian Job in Abu-Dhabi

Duties:
• Cataloguing and sorting library collections, including books, periodicals, electronic media, photographs, artwork, etc.
• Assisting patrons with locating materials or information utilizing the library’s catalogue system.
• Maintaining library records and tracking circulation statistics.
• Updating the library’s website or other digital resources related to the library’s collections.
• Developing or implementing library policies, procedures, or services. • Training staff in library procedures or systems.

Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Library Science from an accredited college or university is required; Master's degree is preferred.
• At least 1 year of experience working as a librarian is preferred. • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. • Knowledge of current trends in librarianship and digital libraries. • Strong communication skills both written and verbal. • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
