Librarian - Sharjah

Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced Librarian to join our team in Sharjah. You will be responsible for organizing and cataloging books, magazines, periodicals, audio and video recordings, and other materials of the library. You will provide assistance to library users in finding information from the collections. You should also be able to plan and organize events such as book clubs or reading sessions.

Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Library Science or a related field
• At least two years of experience working as a Librarian
• Knowledge of cataloging methods such as Dewey Decimal Classification or Library of Congress Classification system
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• Strong customer service orientation and excellent communication skills
