Fitter - Al-Kuwait (1700 salary)

We are looking for a Fitter to join our team in Al-Kuwait. The successful candidate will need to demonstrate experience in the assembly, installation and maintenance of mechanical equipment and systems. The ideal candidate must be able to work independently and as part of a team, have strong organizational skills and be able to work under pressure.

Responsibilities:
• Assemble, install and repair machines, tools and equipment according to layout plans, blueprints, diagrams or other specifications.
• Check for proper functioning of installed systems or components by running tests and/or conducting inspections.
• Identify malfunctions or other issues using testing devices such as meters or gauges.
• Diagnose the cause of any malfunctioning system, component or equipment and complete repairs either by making adjustments or replacing parts.
• Connect wires to control panels or terminals using hand tools.
• Prepare reports of all maintenance activities carried out as well as any materials used in repairs.
• Comply with safety regulations while carrying out duties.

Requirements:
• Proven experience as a Fitter
• Excellent knowledge of mechanical systems and processes used in industrial settings
• Ability to read technical diagrams and blueprints
• Working knowledge of tools, common appliances and devices
• Good problem-solving skills with attention to detail
• Ability to lift heavy objects
