Job Title: Civil Engineer

Location: Sharjah, UAE

Salary: AED 1700/month

We are looking for a Civil Engineer to join our dynamic team in Sharjah, UAE. This is an excellent opportunity for an immigrant who is willing to work and develop professionally. As a Civil Engineer you will be responsible for designing, planning and executing construction projects. You will need to have strong technical skills and knowledge of construction principles, methods and practices.

Responsibilities:
• Designing construction projects according to customer specifications
• Analyzing survey reports, maps, drawings, blueprints and other topographical or geologic data in order to plan projects
• Estimating costs and evaluating alternatives in order to recommend the most viable option
• Preparing and presenting detailed reports on project progress & results
• Ensuring that all projects meet applicable codes and standards
• Directing construction activities at site while monitoring progress against timeline & budget constraints
• Liaising with clients, contractors & other parties throughout the life cycle of a project

Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field
• At least 5 years of experience in civil engineering design or construction work
• Strong knowledge of relevant codes & standards (e.g. ACI) as well as AutoCAD & other software packages used in engineering design & analysis
• Ability to read & interpret blueprints & diagrams accurately
