Job Responsibilities:
• Perform comprehensive eye exams using advanced optometric equipment
• Diagnose a wide range of vision problems, including nearsightedness, farsightedness, astigmatism, glaucoma, cataracts and other eye diseases
• Provide patient counseling regarding their vision care needs
• Prescribe eyeglasses or contact lenses based on patient’s needs
• Educate patients on proper lens cleaning and maintenance techniques
• Follow up with patients to ensure that their vision is improving with the prescribed lenses or glasses
