Position Summary
We are looking for a Painter to join our team in Al-Kuwait. The successful candidate will be responsible for painting and finishing interior and exterior surfaces of structures, buildings, and other facilities. This position offers a salary of 1700 and is open to experienced professionals and those with no prior experience.

Key Responsibilities
• Prepare walls and other surfaces for painting by scraping, using sandpaper, removing old paint, filling holes, or sealing cracks
• Mix, match, and apply paints and other finishes according to specified colors and textures
• Calculate the amounts of required materials using measurements
• Clean walls to ensure proper adherence of paint
• Erect scaffolding or set up ladders as needed for reaching high ceilings or walls
• Select appropriate paint or finish according to surface, use, or customer request
• Apply primers or sealers to prepare new surfaces for finish coats
• Utilize brushes, spray guns, or rollers to apply paints or finishes on surfaces
• Follow health and safety standards when handling hazardous materials such as solvents
• Inspect painted surfaces after completion to ensure that they meet quality standards

Qualifications & Requirements:
• High School Diploma/GED required; college courses in art preferred • Previous experience in painting preferred but not required • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision • Knowledge of safety rules associated with painting activities • Excellent color recognition skills • Good physical condition; ability to stand for long periods of time • Ability to operate ladders safely
