Qualifications:
• High school diploma or equivalent education required.
• Knowledge of flowers, plants, flower arrangements, and design techniques preferred.
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team setting.
• Excellent customer service skills and strong interpersonal skills.
Duties & Responsibilities:
• Create beautiful floral arrangements for customers’ events or special occasions.
• Arrange flowers in vases, baskets, or other containers according to customers’ requests.
• Maintain cleanliness of the store including stocking shelves with fresh flowers and other products; cleaning containers; removing wilted flowers; sweeping floors; etc.
• Provide advice and assistance on selection of flowers according to occasion or budget requirements.
• Follow company safety guidelines while handling sharp objects such as cutters, knives, shears etc., when preparing floral arrangements.
