Sharjah is looking for an experienced Civil Engineer to join our construction team. We are a well-established construction company in the UAE, and we are seeking an individual with excellent technical knowledge and project management skills. The ideal candidate must have a degree in Civil Engineering or related field and at least 5 years of experience in the same field.

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, managing, and overseeing all civil engineering projects within the company. This includes managing site surveys, preparing plans and drawings, assessing potential sites, monitoring progress of projects, preparing cost estimates and budgets, ensuring proper implementation of safety regulations and industry best practices, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations, liaising with clients to ensure quality of work is maintained throughout the project life cycle. The Civil Engineer should also be able to identify problems or potential issues that may arise during the course of the project and provide appropriate solutions.

The duties of this position include but are not limited to: designing structural components; supervising construction activities; conducting site inspections; coordinating with other professionals such as architects and surveyors on projects; preparing reports on findings; evaluating bids from contractors; preparing contracts; performing calculations to determine the size of materials needed for projects; analyzing data from laboratory tests regarding soil conditions; selecting appropriate materials for specific jobs; coordinating with other departments regarding design decisions; overseeing progress on all civil engineering projects within the company.
