Librarian - Dubai, 1500 AED

We are looking for an experienced Librarian to join our team in Dubai. The successful candidate will have at least 1 year of experience in a library setting, and must be willing to consider immigration. The ideal candidate is organized, has a passion for books, and has excellent communication skills.

The primary duties of the Librarian include:
• Organizing and maintaining the library’s collection of books, magazines, newspapers, and other materials
• Helping patrons locate resources using cataloguing systems
• Providing reference services to patrons such as book recommendations
• Assisting patrons with computers and technology use
• Shelving books and other materials as needed
• Cataloguing recently acquired items
• Choosing new titles for acquisition based on patron requests
• Developing reading programs, book clubs, and other activities that encourage library use

The successful candidate should have strong organizational skills, excellent customer service skills, knowledge of modern technology use in libraries, and a passion for reading. This position offers a salary of 1500 AED per month.
