Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced and skilled Pharmacist to join our team in Al-Kuwait. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing safe and effective pharmaceutical care to patients and for ensuring that medication orders are dispensed accurately.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor the quality of medications dispensed.
• Review prescriptions for accuracy and completeness before dispensing medications.
• Dispense medications as prescribed by physicians or other healthcare professional authorized by law.
• Advise patients on the proper use of medications, including dosage, side effects, and contraindications.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of various drug combinations and potential interactions with other drugs or foods.
• Maintain detailed records of all drugs issued to patients or destroyed due to age or spoilage.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable laws governing the practice of pharmacy in Al-Kuwait.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care and safety.
• Provide guidance to pharmacy technicians regarding drug preparation procedures, storage requirements, prescription labeling requirements, etc.

Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy from an accredited university or college is required; Master’s Degree preferred but not necessary.
• Must hold a valid license as a Pharmacist in Al-Kuwait (or have the ability to obtain one).
• Demonstrated knowledge of pharmacological principles and procedures as well as medication therapy management best practices.

Salary: 1200 per month
