Job Responsibilities:
• Design and construct wooden structures such as cabinets, fences, decks, doors, windows, furniture, etc.
• Use of tools such as saws, drills, routers, jointers and planers to create wood products.
• Cut materials to size using power saws or hand saws.
• Assemble components to create finished products.
• Perform quality control checks on completed items.
Required Skills:
• Proven experience as a carpenter or related field.
• Working knowledge of carpentry techniques and methods of installation and construction.
• Ability to read technical documents and drawings.
• Good understanding of mathematics for accurate measurements.
• Excellent physical condition and strength with the ability to work long hours in uncomfortable positions.
