Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Executive Chef to join our team at a busy restaurant in Doha. This position will provide the successful applicant with the opportunity to oversee all aspects of cuisine development and kitchen management. The Executive Chef will be responsible for creating exciting and innovative menus, as well as managing the staff and day-to-day operations of the kitchen. The ideal candidate should have a strong culinary background, excellent leadership skills, and a creative approach to food preparation.

Job Responsibilities

The Executive Chef’s main responsibility will be to lead the culinary team in developing amazing dishes for our guests. This includes creating new recipes, menu planning, managing food costs and ordering supplies. Additionally, the Executive Chef will be responsible for supervising staff performance, training new staff members, enforcing health & safety regulations in the kitchen and ensuring that all food is prepared according to industry standards. The Executive Chef must also ensure that all meals are served on time with high quality standards in order to provide an exceptional dining experience for our guests.

Qualifications & Requirements

The successful candidate must possess at least 5 years of experience working as an Executive Chef or in a similar position. A college degree or equivalent qualification in Culinary Arts is preferred but not essential. The ideal candidate should have excellent communication skills and a passion for creating innovative dishes using fresh ingredients. They should also have good knowledge of food hygiene regulations and health & safety practices as well as budget management experience.
